Going along with my coastal fall decor mood boards, I decided I HAD to do a board in blue since blue is so classically coastal. The elements on this board would work with a lot of existing styles: traditional, coastal granddaughter, preppy, cottage core and grand millennial.
Some advice: you're going to get the best bang for your buck if you decorate in a few clustered areas rather than set one fall item on each surface. For example, the pumpkins and taper candles here could be combined to create a larger dining table or kitchen island centerpiece. The dishes, napkins and flatware could all exist together on one table scape as well.
Mix in some of these items with what you already have. In addition, chunky knits, plaids, buffalo checks, and more tailored patterns like Greek Key would work well too for pillows and throws too. The idea is bringing in some cozy and warm textures/patterns that still look at home in a coastal home.
Happy Fall,
Rachel
